The 10th China International Polyester & Intermediates Forum, organized by China
Chemical & Fiber Economic Information Network (CCFEI) and Tecnon OrbiChem, is held
at 9:00 a.m., 11 Jul, 2013 in Minya Hotel, Shanghai, China, with Galaxy Futures
as the main sponsor and Wenzhou Yufeng Chemical Fiber Machinery as supporter. Leading
players from home and overseas, including BP, Far Eastern Industry, Hengli, Hengyi
Petrochemical, Honam Petrochemical, MEGlobal, PetroChina, Sabic, Sinopec, Reliance,
Rongsheng, Yisheng Petrochemical...etc., are gathering to exchange ideas about the
polyester chain.

The morning session of first day starts with Roger Lee, Managing Director of Tecnon
OrbiChem as Chairman, and Zhu Boliang, General Manager of CCFEI presenting the opening
speech. In his speech, Mr. Zhu gives a review to the relatively flexible monetary
policy of China government in 2013, and pointed to the main theme of the 2013 Forum:
in 2013, under the leadership of new governing team, how should chemical fiber enterprises
adapt themselves to changes and enhance competitive strength?

The first speech of morning session is presented by Hu Xiaopeng from Shanghai Academy
of Social Sciences. Mr. Hu shares his analysis on market future, referring to persistent
weakness of the real economy, increasing pressure in GDP growth, slowing down growth
of banks, and the urgency of transformation.

Wang Yuping, the newly appointed Secretary General of China Chemical Fibers Association
introduces status quo of chemical fiber and polyester industries in China, pointing
out that the sustainable competitive strength of China¡¯s polyester fiber industry
in the future lies with transformation of developing mode, technology innovation,
brand construction, green economy, and internationalization.

After the coffee break, Ringo Leung talks about MEG market. As Global Supply Chain
Director of MEGlobal International, one of the Top 3 MEG suppliers of the world,
Mr. Leung describes status quo of the market, while touches future highlights such
as technology reformation and capacity expansion, etc.

Alejandro Martinez Rubi, Sales & Marketing Director of Cepsa Quimica S.A., which
is the second large PIA supplier of the world and the largest in Spain. In his speech
focusing on PX, PTA and PIA markets, he argues that self-sufficiency of PX will
greatly benefit PTA suppliers, while comprehensive competitiveness will be of crucial
importance to polyester producers.

The afternoon session starts with Feng Jie, Research Director of Galaxy Futures
as the chairman.

approach of polyester production, focusing on difficulties facing the industry and
solutions. As the largest petrochemical enterprise in India, Reliance¡¯s polymer

a major world supplier.

Zhang Feng, Special Consultant of BGPET chip market, shares with us his research
on marketing strategy in BGPET chip market. Mr. Zhang used to work for leading Chinese
suppliers including China Resources Polyester, Sanfangxiang Group and Jiangyin Chengold
Packaging Materials. After retirement, Mr. Zhang continues with his research to
help China¡¯s BGPET industry to get rid of the pressure from excess capacities.
